Academic AppointmentsTinglong Dai is a Professor of Operations Management & Business Analytics at the Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School. He serves on the Core Faculty and Leadership Team of the Hopkins Business of Health Initiative (HBHI), and holds joint faculty appointments at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and the Johns Hopkins Institute for Data-Intensive Engineering and Science (IDIES).

Research Field

Professor Dai's research focuses on the healthcare ecosystem through the lens of analytics, eliciting novel insights into behavior, incentive, and policy issues and contributing to the burgeoning field of healthcare operations management (HOM) 2.0. He has also been working on marketing-operations interfaces and human-AI interaction.
