Prof. He is interested in the implications of agency frictions and debt maturities in financial markets and macroeconomics, with a special focus on contract theory and banking. His most recent research focuses on the role of financial institutions in the global financial crisis. Prof. He was named as 2014 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow, and his work has been widely published in leading economics and finance journals. He serves on editorial boards for various finance, and economics journals.
