This is an era of great opportunities and challenges.
On the one hand, digital technology has a profound impact on all aspects of economics, commerce and social life, and will eventually lead to productivity gains and generate new production relations. On the other hand, is unprepared for these changes, leading to a restructuring of the world economic order and growing uncertainty.
As digital technology penetrates, micro-foundation of the macroeconomies are changing profoundly. Enterprise boundaries and traditional supply chains are being dismantled, giving rise to platform economies and new synergies, while the identities of consumers and producers are being redefined.
