Advances in digital technologies have made the world’s people more linked and affected by each other in an increasingly networked, complex system. Many of the toughest challenges in our world are complexity problems, from financial crisis to ecological challenges. Complexity economics is a relatively new, extreme interdisciplinary, exciting field that aims to tackles these challenges. Panelists in this symposium discussed both theory and real-world applications of complexity economics.
