Associate Professor of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Huang Yi, delivered a speech entitled "The Difference between BigTech and FinTech: the monetisation of information and the digitalisation of finance." Professor Huang believes that the credit service of BigTech, as a supplement to traditional financial institutions, is more inclusive. FinTech firms digitize money, while BigTech firms monetize data, using the information for risk screening and mining monetary value.
