Micheal Spence: Measuring the Digital Economy

Micheal Spence, Luohan Academy Committee member, and Nobel Laureate in Economics delivered the keynote speech at the 2019 Luohan Academy Annual Digital Economy Conference. He spoke to the need to stem the negative impact that digital technology has brought, such as data security and privacy issues. He also suggested that in such a complicated and chaotic world, we as a society must find a more balanced method to evaluate the status quo and adequately measure the digital economy and the positives that digital technology brings.
